Sergey still had chances to win the points GC and a last win would of course be a great way to conclude a succesfull Tour! The whole team worked for him, but in the end it just did not work out. Sergey got 4th in a bunch sprint that was surprisingly won by the yellow jersey-wearer Radosz from Poland.
With 2 wins and 3 other top 4 placings in stages, a 3rd place in the points GC and a day in yellow, it was a great race for the team, however; bringing a lot of publicity in China!!
