Robin Reid did win the Tour of Pakistan and finished it in style, by winning the last stage. His 4th stage win during this 11-stage Tour.

Robin Reid is in great shape and one of the favourites now for the upcoming Tour of Islamabad in Pakistan. However there will be strong competition with teams coming from Denmark, Iran, USA, Canada, England etc. Robin will race for the New Zealand selection. The Discovery Channel Marco Polo Team starts with a strong Asian selection, Chinese Yu Tong, Jamsran Ulzii-Orshikh from Mongolia and Japanes Hisanori Akiyama. There will further be some riders from the Marco Polo Cycling Club from the Netherlands and from Germany.
The 3 day Tour of Islamabad is a fundraising event for a project to build a school for the victims of the earthquake in the Khagan Valley. More information: www.kmt.org.pk (donations are welcome!)
