Trek – Marco Polo Cycling Team rider Leon van Bon, who rode last year in the Protour with the Rabobank team was guest in the popular BZT show on national television in the Netherlands.
Van Bon is a former medalist at Olympic Games (silver points race, Barcelona) and World professionals Championships (bronze, San Sebastian), he won two Tour de France and one Vuelta stage and also won the HEW Cyclassics.
In the Trek – Marco Polo Team, Van Bon will have the role of road captain. He wants to help the talented Asian rider with his experience to make it to the top level in cycling.
