While the team was training in Malaysia, Trek was working hard to get the new team bikes ready before the Tour de Langkawi. Finally they had staff flying from the USA to bring the frame sets to China and build the bikes up there, then hand-carry the complete bikes to Malaysia.
The riders just love the new bikes!! Jai Crawford is totally happy: "the bikes are super-low weight and all action"; Sergey and Fuyu just love the way the bike moves and the stifness of the frames.
The bikes came with SRAM Force groups, with some SRAM Red groups to come later this season, of course all additional parts are from Bontrager. There are Bontrager XXXL and Bontrager Aeolus carbon race wheels, tires/tubulars are from Vredestein, bottles from Tacx, pedals from Keywin, Polar computers and the riders wear Tineli uniforms, Giro helmets, Lake shoes and Oakley glasses. Powerbar gives energy to the team, while Wieler Magazine and Eurosport Asia are official media partners.
