Chinese Li Chao and Loh Sea Keong from Malaysia from the Discovery Channel Marco Polo Team placed top ten in the impressive strong pro-field of the Derny-race in the Sparkassen Giro Bochum in Germany. Loh rode strong and joined a chase group of Erik Zabel and Robbie McEwen going after last year German Champion on the road; Dirk Müller. Li Chao was struggling in the beginning, it was his first time behind a Derny-motor, but found his position and rhythm right on time to catch on at this leading group. Behind winner Robbie McEwen, Loh and Li sprinted to their top ten placings!
